What Educators say about our Program

Early Years Program

It (The Early Years Program) has changed the way I think.

Shay Gilliland, Kookaburra Creek Kindergarten

Our educators embraced the training, they felt it was one of the best professional development opportunities they had been to in years. We saw results in a short amount of time. I will be recommending the program to whoever will listen.

Anna Woodhouse, Kidz at the Beach

The team at Renown undertook the Learning Connections training with the intention of learning strategies and techniques to support one individual child. However, we soon learnt how beneficial this program is for all children in our care. We have continued to implement strategies and techniques into our programs, so much so that they are now permanent fixtures for learning. We have purchased equipment and resources to help support this practice and we have noticed such significant positive changes to not only the way in which we teach but the behaviours that we see within our classes. I can highly recommend the training delivered by Learning Connections.

Sally Norman, Program Director, Renown Kindergarten, South Yarra

Last year I saw a definite improvement in student’s overall ability top engaging in tasks and their overall academic performance had really increased. They were more settled and able to sit and listen and follow instructions.  Interestingly, I had 3 students who would never engage in the exercises (1 child is developmentally delayed and had poor gross motor). While the other children you could see changes in behaviour, being more focused and engaged, these 3 children didn’t seem to progress like the others. By the end of the year, I was impressed by how far they had come. This year it has been so wonderful as many of my students have already been doing this in Kindy, and it has been wonderful to see them get on with it. When it is Learning Connections time, they are ready and know what to expect, and off we go. They are settled, engaged and so ready to learn and be involved in all tasks.  I am so loving and enjoying the students so much more. I am looking forward to where they take me this year.

Kylie Ruhl, Prep Teacher, Tannum Sands State School

As a principal for 23 years and a teacher for 40 years, I whole-heartedly endorse Learning Connections for the high level of support, engagement and improvement, physically and academically this program provides for students from Prep to Year 10. The comprehensive approach to improving physical, mental and emotional good health, well-being and individual success has empowered parents, teachers and students themselves to succeed and thrive. At each and every school I have been employed at, I have been really impressed by the positive impact this program has had.

Christine Dolley, Acting Principal, Biggenden State School

We own 14 childcare centres across Queensland and we have made a commitment to train our educators in Learning Connections after seeing the enormous benefits to the children in our care… We have seen huge improvements in the children’s ability to concentrate, their balance and spatial skills, their drawing and painting, as well as their social skills.

What Teachers say about our Program

School Program

At the start of each school day you will see students involved in the Learning Connections Program. You will also see a smile of the faces of parents walking past as they know their children are getting ready to learn. Parents have shared what they have heard and seen in action and noticed the difference it has made to their child’s focus. Having Learning Connections in our school is now a drawcard.
